After having a dog in the Emergency Vet Hospital and a bill of over $3,000, we did some research and decided to invest in Vet Insurance to insure our adult dogs.
We looked at several carriers and their ratings, length of time in the insurance business, underwriting then analyzed the total cost vs the risk for needing coverage. We wanted to be able to tailor policies to each dog. We also wanted a multi pet discount.
