We are located in De Pere, Wisconsin and it is our home. We do not allow visitors to come and play with puppies. We limit the puppy contact to only those who have reserved their puppy with their deposit. Since the puppies are new and are developing their immune system, we wait until pups have had their first series of shots before families can visit. Since canine parvovirus lives in the environment at large, anyone can bring it into our environment. It is lethal to puppies and we don’t want to cause heartbreak to families expecting to bring home a healthy animal, because our pack became ill.
We have the option to hand deliver our puppies up to 3 hours from our kennel address without a fee. If we drive more that 3 hours one away (6 hours round trip), the fee is $300 plus mileage and expenses if hotel stay is needed. We limit the daily travel to 10 hours in one day (puppy needs a break too). In short, if you are a distance away, we can discuss the options available and costs associated with them. You are welcome to pick your puppy up in person or we can arrange delivery at specified locations to avoid transportation fees altogether.
Our policy on flying our puppies is to have them ride in the cabin not the cargo area. We feel that we spend so much time socializing our puppies for family life, that sending them in a cargo hold will likely cause enough trauma to create some anxiety behaviors that are not desired. We have someone that will fly with our puppies anywhere in the US. The cost for the flight nanny will start at $600. Additional expenses will be based upon airline fees and flight nanny expenses. Airline travel has a lot of red tape, fees and expenses as well as requirements and guidelines. We can address and itemize all the extras, including boarding your puppy beyond the 9th week to the time of delivery as allowed by the airlines.
In order for a puppy to fly there are some additional expenses to consider. First they need a USDA Flight Clearance form completed by a Veterinarian within 10 days of their flight. So there is the fee for the vet exam and for the form. Bigger still, is planning for the puppy to get their vet exam within the 10 day window. Vets are busy, so if this is an option you want, plan ahead for 3-6 weeks. Additionally, the puppy will need their own plane ticket. Airlines limit the number of pets in the cabin, so you will need to plan a few weeks in advance and call and talk directly to customer service to get their flight booked. Last, on the USDA Flight Clearance form, the party that is traveling with the puppy is to be named on the document. So if you change your mind, another vet check and new form will need to be completed at a cost, and that is assuming we can arrange for that to happen last minute. We are willing and have experience putting all these pieces together, but we need to have a conversation and a solid plan, at least 3 weeks prior to a flight.

The deposit is the way of holding a puppy until they are ready to go home and you pay the rest of the balance. The deposit is $325 and it is non-refundable, but it is transferable to a different litter.
At six weeks of age, we will start the selection of puppies. We go in the order of when we receive the deposits. This is a great time as personalities are blooming and coats are coming in nicely, and they have received their first found of puppy shots. Each family will be given an appointment time, which has been agreed upon by both the Breeder and the Family. Selection can be in-person or virtual.
We begin with a birth announcement and newborn pictures done at a few days of age. Next, we take weekly pictures that are posted on our Facebook Page, on Good Dog, here on our website, and on a Google slideshow that is sent out to all of the families. Along with the weekly pictures some videos of the puppies accomplishments are also posted.
We only sell family/companion puppies. NONE of our puppies will come with breeding rights. ALL puppies are sold on a spay/neuter agreement.
