Kinzor Kennels
Kinzor Kennels is a family business, but don’t let the name fool you. We do not have a large kennel operation. We are a small family breeder and our dogs are part of our family. Historically, as family we regularly rescued lab mix dogs; however, the shedding was a huge undesirable issue that was a constant problem. After meeting standard goldendoodles, we were quite impressed with the intelligence and training ability for a family dog, AND THEY SHED MINIMALLY. The only issue with the standard goldendoodles; their size was a bit too big for a multi generational family. We did not want an overexcited large dog to knock over grandma. Therefore, our research resulted in the development of the mini and petite version of the goldendoodle.
With a motivated pre-vet student in the household, we developed a breeding program to produce traits that would make excellent family dogs. We want to produce dogs that are smaller than the golden retriever, so they are more easily adapted for family life. As a bonus, we want to produce rare colors not usually seen in Goldendoodles, like parti and merle. We also breed Teddy Bears which are a mixture of Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise and Poodle. We breed the Teddy Bear puppies because they are also allergy friendly and non-shedding. Our Goldendoodle puppies will range from 15 lbs to 35 lbs full grown and our Teddy Bear puppies will range from 8 lbs to 15 lbs full grown. All our parent dogs are health tested and are regularly vet checked prior to each breeding season and all puppies have at least one vet check as well as vaccines and deworming regimen before going to their forever homes.
