What is Kinzor Kennels

Kinzor Kennels is a family business, but don’t let the name fool you. We are a small family breeder and our dogs are part of our family. Historically, as family we regularly rescued lab mix dogs; however, the shedding was a huge undesirable issue that was a constant problem. After meeting standard goldendoodles, we were quite impressed with the intelligence and training ability for a family dog BONUS: They shed minimally, if at all!! The only issue we had with the standard goldendoodles was their size. They are a bit too big for a multi generational family. We did not want an overexcited large dog to knock over grandma. Therefore, our research resulted in the development of the mini and petite size version of the goldendoodle.

With a motivated pre-vet student in the household, we developed a breeding program to produce traits that would make excellent family dogs. We want to produce dogs that are smaller than the golden retriever, so they are more easily adapted for family life. As a bonus, we want to produce rare colors not usually seen in Goldendoodles, like parti and merle. We got started with Teddy Bear Puppies which are a mixture of Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise and Poodle. The big difference between the Doodles and the Teddies: Teddies are lap dogs and Doodles are more active.

Goldendoodles

Goldendoodle Magic

Goldendoodle puppies are a perfect match for a family on the go lifestyle. Whether you want to cuddle up on the couch, or if you're looking for a graceful and lively athlete who will keep up with you on jogs or bike rides, the Goldendoodle has go you covered.

They have an adoring behavior towards children and are quite keen on pleasing and impressing their owners.

Mini vs. Petite Goldendoodle

Only difference is the size!

Our Minis average 28 pounds

Our Petites average 18 pounds

The puppies inherit all the best qualities their parents have to offer. They are intelligent, loyal, friendly, and as sweet as can be.

Teddy Bears

Teddy Bears

Our Teddy Bear puppies are a mixture of a Zuchon (Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise) and Poodle. They are bundles of fluff with floppy ears, born to cuddle. They are affectionate, sociable, playful, intelligent, adaptable, gentle and have the potential for emotional support or therapy work. Well-suited for families with children or empty nesters that want a buddy.

Their temperament allows them to thrive in both busy and quieter homes, as long as they get plenty of companionship and affection.

Teddy Bears

Our Teddy Bears weight ranges from 8 pounds - 15 pounds, averaging around 10 pounds. Our Teddy Bears also have a variety of colors for their coats.

TESTIMONALS

We got a puppy Cooper from Kinzor Kennels 3 weeks ago. We came across their website on a Friday night after talking about getting a puppy. They got back to us right away, stating they had 1 puppy still available and he was ready to go home the following day! It could not have been more meant to be. Cooper is so playful and outgoing. They had him already starting to train for sit, and he is well versed in that now. He is such a quick learner and doing well with potty training since they started that training with him. as first time dog owners, they were so knowledgeable and gave us helpful information without overwhelming us. He also came with all his vaccines that he could be up to date on them. This has made it so much easier with being able to bring him to doggy daycare and make sure he is getting socialization earlier. We could not have asked for a better experience.

We got our mini goldendoodle back in June of this year. Kelley and her daughters are very knowledgeable on the breeds they offer, they are always available for questions and concerns. Our boy Murphy is thriving and we couldn't be happier with what he has brought to our family.

I recommend Kinzor Kennels to anyone interested in owning a dog. My dog, Oppo, who I brought home in August 2022 was (and still is) extremely smart and well-trained from day one. He has never been a barker, never been reactive, is extremely sweet, sensitive, and inquisitive. I cannot picture life without Oppo! He brings my husband and I so much joy and his other puppy siblings love him. Thank you Kelley and everyone at Kinzor Kennels!

I am seriously interested in a puppy, what are my next steps?

Fill out our Puppy Application. After filling out our puppy application and being accepted, you will be put onto a waiting for confirmation list.

What is a deposit?

The deposit is the way of holding a puppy until they are ready to go home and you pay the rest of the balance. The deposit is $325 and it is non-refundable, but it is transferable to a different litter.

How do I select my puppy?

At six weeks of age, we will start the selection of puppies. We go in the order of when we receive the deposits. This is a great time as personalities are blooming and coats are coming in nicely, and they have received their first found of puppy shots. Each family will be given an appointment time, which has been agreed upon by both the Breeder and the Family. Selection can be in-person or virtual.

How many updates will I receive?

We begin with a birth announcement and newborn pictures done at a few days of age. Next, we take weekly pictures that are posted on our Facebook Page, on Good Dog, here on our website, and on a Google slideshow that is sent out to all of the families. Along with the weekly pictures some videos of the puppies accomplishments are also posted.

Do you sell any puppies with breeding rights?
